the staff was friendly and helpful enough.
The room was very cold. The thermostat wasn't effective. i received an electric heater from reception to help, confirming this is a known issue. also, the room lacked drawers, forcing me to live out of my luggage.

The breakfast was acceptable. There was enough variety.
The staff seemed undertrained. also, the room wasn't properly cleaned one day. I had to call multiple times, and even then, it was just a quick wipe-down at 4:30 pm.

Fantastic Stay Near Museums

good sizecanal viewin-room extrashandy shop
The room had good size, which I liked. There were wonderful views over the canal. Plenty of in-room extras were available. I found the on-site shop handy for drinks and snacks.
Some plug sockets in the room were not working. I told reception.
